Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (AustCham ASEAN)

The Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce is the peak body for all Australian Chambers and Business Councils located in ASEAN member states.

Launched in Singapore in 2017 by the then Prime Minster, the Australia-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (AustCham ASEAN) was established to advocate for and to assist Australian business to understand the complexities and opportunities afforded to Australia through it close economic, social and cultural ties to its neighbours within the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Each year AustCham ASEAN conducts the only longitudinal study of Australian Business Opinion in ASEAN and has done so for nearly 10 years.

AustCham ASEAN is the sole Australian business organisation officially recognised as a Dialogue Partner of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) and is a member of its Joint Business Committee. ASEAN-BAC is the apex private sector body of ASEAN and was established with the mandate to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN’s efforts towards economic integration.
